    Lana Bentley has served as Director of Strategy for
    YW Calgary since 2016. She is an award-winning therapist and holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work from the University of Calgary. Lana worked for nearly a decade in child and mental health for Alberta Health Services and has taught at Bow Valley College, the University of Calgary, and Mount Royal University.

  • Kate Goodwin, CCC, RCC™, CPHR(C)

    Kate Goodwin is a trusted and experienced workplace training facilitator and Mindfulness specialist. She is a Certified Canadian Counsellor, a Certified Professional in Human Resources Candidate and a Registered Corporate Coach specializing in Strength Based Leadership and Employee Mental Health and Wellness. Kate has a master's degree in International and Intercultural Communication, a master's degree in Counselling Psychology and has built wellness programs for organizations across Canada.

    Kate’s background in journalism and qualitative research makes her an excellent resource for organizations who are looking to connect more with their workforce.

    With this training, leaders and aspiring leaders will delve into the practical applications of trauma-informed concepts in the context of their roles. We do not include recordings of our training sessions unless specifically agreed upon in your contract.

Is there a participant minimum/maximum?

We offer our training throughout the year both in person and virtually and can accommodate groups of all sizes.

How much does your training cost?

How do you approach discussions about sensitive topics?

We work from a trauma-informed approach and will speak to client contacts about any concerns or customizations prior to the training or event. The Mindfulicity team is both experienced in delivering and well-versed in sensitive topics.

What makes your presentation/workshop different?

We specialize in Mindfulness and Healthy Relationships. Our training is based on our frontline work in building community and empowering individuals. Our facilitators are known to bring expertise and passion to this topic and will leave your team inspired to act on the knowledge they gain from our training.
